If you are a beginner or new to the world of Pilates, we recommend booking a private trial session to a reduced price. If you already have done Pilates on machines before, you are welcome to book a group class directly.
If you prefer a private introductory session to familiarize yourself with the Pilates method and to define your training goals with your instructor, please reserve a private introductory session. The introductory private session offer for new clients is available only once.
Pilates on machines, also known as Pilates apparatus or equipment, is a form of Pilates that utilizes specially designed equipment to enhance the Pilates exercises. The machines used in Pilates include the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel. These machines utilize springs and pulleys to provide resistance and support during the exercises.
Pilates on machines helps to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. It is suitable for all levels of fitness and can be customized to meet the needs of each individual.
At Time2Pilates, we offer classes that incorporate both mat Pilates and Pilates on machines to provide a well-rounded Pilates experience.
Pilates apparatus refers to the specialized equipment used in Pilates workouts to enhance and support various exercises. Some common Pilates apparatus include:
Pilates Reformer : it consists of a sliding carriage attached to springs, ropes, and pulleys. e provided by the springs.
Cadillac (or Trapeze Table): it's a versatile piece of equipment that consists of a padded table with an overhead frame. It often includes various attachments, such as straps, bars, and springs, allowing for a wide range of exercises.
Wunda Chair: it's a box-like apparatus with a cushioned seat and springs. It's used for exercises that focus on strengthening the legs, arms, and core.
Ladder Barrel: a barrel attached to a ladder-like structure. It's used for stretching, strengthening, and flexibility exercises.
Ped-o-Pull: it's a piece of equipment used primarily for private Pilates sessions. It offers a range of exercises to improve balance, coordination, and strength.
Bring water and wear comfortable clothing for your workout. For hygiene reasons, we kindly request that you wear grip socks for a secure grip on the machines or regular socks. You may bring a towel for yourself after the workout, but it is not necessary to use a towel on the machines as we sanitize them after each workout (see the sanitary measures).
Yes, there are free parking spaces available for clients in front of the studio. There are also parking spaces available on the street. You can use the blue disc, which allows you to park anywhere for two hours free of charge. If you don't have a blue disc yet, you can find them in some shops or at the ACL store.
As it's a small studio, we ask you kindly to optimize your arrival time (max. 5 minutes before beginning of the class).
Please note that our studio is located on the -1 floor of the house, accessible by stairs.
